As part of the Walton County School District eSmart initiative, each student will receive a school-issued Chromebook and charger. Parents/guardians and students can purchase the Chromebook Usage and Protection Plan (UPP), which secures a discounted repair rate for any damages to the Chromebooks. The Protection Plan also allows the students to take home the Chromebooks. The cost of the Chromebook protection plan is $20 per year. You can pay for this plan online with a credit card, debit card, or check at www.mypaymentsplus.com (once you have logged in, the "Chromebook Usage and Protection Plan" option is located under "Other Payments"). On-Campus Students
Chromebook Distribution for on-campus students will take place during the first week of school. If the protection plan is paid by August 1, students will receive their Chromebooks on the first day of school. Anyone who pays after that date will receive his or her Chromebook sometime during the first week of school
If parents/guardians choose to decline the protection plan, printed copies of the Chromebook protection forms are available in the Media Center. You can also CLICK HERE to download, print, and complete form. Students who decline the protection plan will bring their Chromebooks to the Media Center at the end of each school day. Please remember that if you decline the protection plan, you are responsible for the full cost of any repairs. |
Distance Learning Students
Chromebook Distribution for digital learning students will take place the following dates and times in the LHS Media Center. Please pay for the $20 Chromebook Usage and Protection Plan before coming to the school.

Students who still owe money for previous Chromebook repairs or loss will not be able to take home their Chromebooks until they have cleared their records.

- Go to www.mypaymentsplus.com.
- Sign In with your email address or username.
- Enter your password.
- Under Other Payments, choose the Chromebook Usage and Protection Plan option.
- Scroll down the page, and choose Continue Payment.
- You will then be prompted to complete the online Chromebook Usage and Protection Form.
New to MyPaymentsPlus:
- Go to www.mypaymentsplus.com
- Click on Register NOW.
- Select State: Georgia
- Select School District: Walton County Board of Education
- Register for account by entering required information
- Select: I am a Parent or Guardian with student(s) in Walton County Board of Education
- Enter your child’s Student ID Number.
- Enter your child’s Last Name.
- Click Add Student.
- Under Other Payments, choose the Chromebook Usage and Protection Plan option.
- Scroll down the page, and choose Continue Payment.
- You will then be prompted to complete the online Chromebook Usage and Protection Form.
